Max Mara

In 1951, Itallian Achille Maramotti formed the House of Max Mara with their focus on ready-to-wear clothing. Maramotti wanted to market his brand ahead of individual designers, and was one of the first to recognise the benefits from the fashion industry of mass producing designer-quality clothing.
